The hole cam or the pocket cam is a camera used in poker game for displaying the face down cards (also called as hole cards) of the players to the television audience. This hole cam became popular in the year 1999. Before the invention of this hole cam camera, there is no way for the audience to know about the cards being hold by the players. There are two different cases in using the hole cam for the play as follows:

1. In one case, they place the hole cam under the glass panel of the table. Now the players are requested to play their cards above the table (as in High Stakes Poker).
