Misere
The player is allowed to declare a Misere if the players hand has no court cards or trumps. This declaration of Misere subtracts ten points from the scores of other players and adds 30 points for themselves. This is a common house rule bonus and not well thought-out as official in the tournaments.
Poignee
Even before playing their first card, the player can declare a ‘handful’ (poignee), triple (15+), double (13+), or single (10+), only if the player’s hand has 10 or higher number of trumps. A handful adds 20 points to the scoring, double adds 40, and triples add 60. The bonus points will always be added to the hand score.
